Yahoo Groups has stated it will delete all it's group content today!
Attention: Starting December 14, 2019 Yahoo Groups will no longer host user created content on its sites. New content can no longer be uploaded after October 28, 2019. Sending/Receiving email functionality is not going away, you can continue to communicate via any email client with your group members.
The conclusion of Road to Avonlea and Anne 3 just happened to arrive during an increasing growth of the internet and online communities. Around that time the Avonlea community was a buzzing hive of discussion and creativity, and Yahoo Groups was a place where fans from around the world could forge friendships and discuss LM Montgomery's world like never before. One of these groups was the Avonlea Village with over 200 members and 1,000's of posts. Eventually, interest faded, leaving the Groups as time capsules of lively LM Montgomery discussions.
Today, those posts will all be deleted. it's kind of like an end to an era.
