Boisterous preacher who replaced Leonard as Reverend in winter 1905. He was replaced by Reverend John Elliot in winter 1908.
Formerly the Lloyd estate (see Margaret Lloyd), the foundling home was established in summer 1911 by Stuart McRae and Felicity King to house orphans (7.1: Out of the Ashes).

Claimed that Peg Bowen set fire to his barn. It is not clear what relation, if any, he shared with Pat Frewen.

A pig farmer who had a fondness for Sara's famous cousin, Pigeon Plumbtree; but was pursued for twenty years by Theodora Dixon. After a misunderstanding from a conversation with Sara Stanley, Pat falsely believed that Pigeon Plumbtree had been pursuing him and not Theodora.
When Pat revealed his courting intentions to Pigeon, the actress berated him in the White Sands dining room. After realizing her cruel actions, Pigeon helped Sara bring Pat and Theodora together during their charity performance for the Avonlea Improvement Society. (2.11: It's Just a Stage).
